DISCLOSURE This information can be very helpful in making your riding or equestrian experience a safe and positive one. Please be as accurate as possible in your assessment in order to match your abilities with the proper mount. The ride master has full authority to exclude a riderfrom the activity for inability to ride, weight or height requirements, or behavior which would endanger the other riders or horses.No refund for the activity will be made under these circumstances. There may be additional documents to sign required by the individual equestrian contractor or outfit. Certified riding helmets with strap which are in good condition and fit appropriately are required at all times while mounted. Novice: Rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting and comfortable and in control at the walk and trot. Intermediate: Rider with the above mentioned abilities as well as a firm seat. Confident and in control at all paces including a canter, and on most terrain. Advanced: Rider with all the above mentioned abilities, rides regularly, comfortable and in control at all paces and on all terrain.

DISCLOSURE Please note that many equestrian centers impose weight, height and age limits for potential riders. Further, they may require certain safety equipment such as, but not limited to, helmets, boots, and may not offer all styles of riding such as western. Riding tour contractor(s) may require participant’s parent/guardian to sign their own release forms. By signing below, you understand and agree that anyone participating in an equestrian event by riding or being around a horse can suffer bodily injury or death. Horses are unpredictable by nature. When frightened by real or perceived danger or when under stress, they can jump forward or sideways, run, buck, kick or rear without warning. Participants also understand that horses are powerful and potentially dangerous. Any participant of an equestrian activity must assume full responsibility for all expenses and liabilities of that participant in riding or other equestrian activity. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond The Classroom against all claims which may arise. Further, if any participant of an equestrian activity is a minor, his/her parent/guardian must assume full responsibility for all expenses and liabilities of that participant and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond The Classroom against any claims which may arise.
